Dr. Irina Perelman, a caring therapeutic optometrist, worked for over 20 years at her practice next to Sears Optical in Hackensack, which closed in March 2018. There, she has built a large and loyal patient base that followed her to her new office. Besides English, Dr. Perelman is fluent in Russian and Hebrew, and conducts eye exams in Spanish. She is compassionate and proficient in working with children, the elderly, and individuals with special needs, including autism.

Our office is officially OPEN for eye exams and all other in-person visits and we are committed to help our patients in any way we can!!!

We are doing our very best to comply with all CDC recommended COVID-19 protective measures, including: staff wearing masks at all times and adhering to frequent hand washing, using Plexiglas dividers for patient-staff interactions, not overbooking patient appointments, helping patients to maintain social distancing in the waiting room, using UV lamp/cleaners to disinfect eyeglass frames after patients trying them on, constant equipment disinfection, etc.

We ask that patients do not come into the office even if they feel mildly sick and that all patients and accompanying family members wear masks at all times.

We are continuing to supply patients with contact lens orders remotely, but we are back in compliance with CL expiration policy of one year.

Please take care of yourselves and stay healthy!
