Our Care Philosophy

Better Sight Vision Center is a family optometric practice with many years of combined experience in the eye care industry. Dr. Irina Perelman, who is the only eye doctor at the practice, deeply cares about her patient's eyes and well-being in general. Dr. Perelman believes in carefully listening to and addressing her patients’ eye care needs and offering them versatile solutions, ranging from highly specialized diagnosis and treatment of their eye conditions to referring them to the best specialists in the Bergen County area, if needed. Our vision center and its staff offer a highly individualized approach to the needs of our previous Sears Optical patients and our new patients and customers, in a warm and friendly environment.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR DR. IRINA PERELMAN'S PATIENTS IN LIGHT OF COVID-19

Our office is officially OPEN for eye exams and all other in-person visits and we are committed to help our patients in any way we can!!!

We are doing our very best to comply with all CDC recommended COVID-19 protective measures, including: staff wearing masks at all times and adhering to frequent hand washing, using Plexiglas dividers for patient-staff interactions, not overbooking patient appointments, helping patients to maintain social distancing in the waiting room, using UV lamp/cleaners to disinfect eyeglass frames after patients trying them on, constant equipment disinfection, etc.

We ask that patients do not come into the office even if they feel mildly sick and that all patients and accompanying family members wear masks at all times.

We are continuing to supply patients with contact lens orders remotely, but we are back in compliance with CL expiration policy of one year.

Please take care of yourselves and stay healthy!
