Our office is officially closed for in-person visits and in-person business until further notice. However, we would like to continue serving our patients, to the best of our ability remotely.

That means that we will continue to provide the following services:

1). Replacement of lost eyeglasses utilizing previous prescription-the optical laboratories we work with, have been thankfully open so far.

2). We will continue to supply patients with contact lens orders remotely-using insurance or not. For those patients whose prescription has expired or is about to expire, we will make special accommodations for extension of expiration date. Please have your insurance information ready when calling for contact lens RX re-order. We will be able to arrange contact lens shipping to your house for an additional fee of $7.

3). Dr. Perelman will do her best to counsel patients on the phone or a video call if needed regarding eye related superficial illnesses (e.g. styes, pink eyes, contact lens related issues, visual blur issues, etc.).

4). We are ready to accommodate new patients that need to order glasses or contacts as long as they have a valid written eyeglass or CL prescription, without in-person contact. We are going to utilize a safe way of frame selection and eyeglass measurements through our transparent glass door if needed, to abide by COVID-19 safety measures. We will address each patient's situation individually.

5). Dr. Perelman will try to arrange TELEMEDICINE visits for potential emergency patients with N.Y.C. area specialists. For ocular emergencies, please call (201) 796-2020 (Phillips Eye Center) or (201) 368-2444 (Omni Eye Center) and mention that you are Dr. Irina Perelman's patient.

For any additional questions or requests, please email us at, or leave us a message at
