Dry Eyes is an inflammatory medical condition that affects both the people who are over the age of 50 and people of any age who spend hours in front a digital screen. Aging, droopy eyelids treatment
Unfortunately in many patients, eyelids droop (age-related ptosis) with age, sometimes more on one eye than the other. Although oculoplastic surgery is available, Dr. Perelman offers a prescription for an innovative eye drop (Upneeq) that can temporarily reduce lid droop. When appropriate, and if both Dr. Perelman and the patient feel that referral to oculoplastic surgery is needed, Dr. Perelman refers patients to the best oculoplastic surgeons in the area.

Innovative option to temporarily treat a reading problem
Vuity eye drops have been recently approved by the FDA for temporary treatment of presbyopia (near vision problem occurring in every person after age 45). Although Dr. Perelman recommends eyeglass and contact lens correction of presbyopia in most cases, she will carefully select candidates for this temporary treatment of presbyopia and will make recommendations FOR or AGAINST it, depending on patients' individual needs.
